AI Content Policy and Reporting

Prohibited AI generated content, moderation, reporting, and model information.

Last updated: 2026-10-23

Content we prohibit

When using SurgeMeme's AI generation features, you may not request, generate, upload, share, or distribute:

  1. Pornography and NSFW content: explicit sexual acts, pornography, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  2. Violent or graphic content: serious injury, torture, graphic gore, threats, or incitement of real-world violence.
  3. Hate and harassment: hate, discrimination, or abuse based on protected traits; bullying, stalking, or threats against a person or group.
  4. Child safety violations: any sexual or exploitative content involving minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors, or grooming and solicitation. This content is strictly prohibited and handled as required by law.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation: misleading use of another person's likeness or identity without consent, or content used for fraud, defamation, or public opinion manipulation. Upload photos of yourself or adults who have clearly authorized their use.
  6. Infringing content: content that violates copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other third-party rights, including unauthorized use of protected characters, brands, marks, or logos.

The current Halloween generator only offers family-friendly original costume scenes, does not accept custom prompts, and does not generate film, game, celebrity, or branded characters. See the Terms of Service for more restrictions.

Automated moderation and enforcement

Uploaded photos receive an automated safety check before generation. Generated images and videos are checked again before delivery. These checks use image and video moderation models provided through Replicate. If the moderation service is unavailable, the system pauses or fails the task, does not deliver an unchecked result, and returns the credits charged for that task.

Automated moderation can miss content or block it by mistake. We review reports manually using task records and the information submitted by the user. If we confirm a violation, we may restrict the creation, block further generation, return credits charged for a blocked task, warn or suspend the account, and report it to the relevant authorities when required by law. You can use the same channel to appeal a moderation decision or a mistaken block.

Report generated content

Click Report this content on a result card or in Settings → My Creations. Your email app opens with the creation ID filled in. Describe the issue and the policy category; attach a screenshot if helpful. You can also email support@surgememe.com and include the creation ID.

We aim to reply by email within 5 business days. Do not re-upload or distribute content you believe may be illegal. Include only the information needed to review the report.

AI models currently used

The current generation service uses these upstream model identifiers through the Haomao API:

  • Images: Image 2 (upstream model ID: image-2).
  • Videos: Seedance 2.0 Fast (upstream model ID: seedance-2.0-fast).

Replicate's safety moderation models are used for review and do not generate results. If an upstream service changes its model or routing, we will update this page and the model information shown in the generator.
